                <text>O Acervo Edy Star é o resultado de um esforço de catalogação de parte do arquivo pessoal de Edy Star, um dos primeiros artistas brasileiros a se assumir publicamente homossexual e uma figura icônica da cena queer e da música popular no Brasil. Com itens documentados que incluem fotografias, cartas, reportagens, roteiros de shows, gravações e outros documentos cobrindo quase sete décadas, de 1953 a 2021, o acervo revela uma trajetória marcada pela coragem e pela resistência cultural em um período de repressão e censura. Com o acesso ao Acervo Edy Star, pesquisadores, estudantes e o público geral poderão acessar registros fundamentais sobre as vivências queer no Brasil, desde a Salvador dos anos 1950 até a contemporaneidade, mantendo viva uma memória que inspira discussões sobre amor, liberdade e resistência.</text>
